N. Collin Hughes Papers, . 1942

N. Collin Hughes (1856-1947) was an Episcopal clergyman and educator of North Carolina. The collection includes biographical sketches of five North Carolina Episcopal clergymen written by Hughes and a letter and corrections referencing the sketches. Sketches are of Joseph Blount Cheshire (1850-1932); Nicholas Collin Hughes (1822-1893), who was the author's father; Nathaniel Harding (1847-1917); Robert Brent Drane (1851-1939); and Aaron Burtis Hunter (1854-1933).
